About the Show

 The Eclectic Wedding Extravaganza

Was founded back in 2012 , when we found a distinct lack of anything remotely alternative in wedding fair land, that was anywhere near to being any good, we didn’t fit in anywhere…..we were drowning in a sea of beige and “vintage” …so we built ourselves EWE-boat and set sail for an alternative weird yet wonderful wedding world. Picking up other weird wedding waifs and strays along the way…

We call these amazing suppliers our Bad Ass Mother Flockers or Mo Flo’s for short.

They bring it to every show with all their badassery.. We now have the most amazing space both in life and online that all the worlds weirdos can be EWEnited in the quest for a weddding that is all about them

Our motto from the very start that continues today  “Don’t be a wedding sheep-it’s all about EWE!”

The show has grown so much that we are now spread over 2 days, and 2 venues sometimes twice a year

The show is always filled with Fun times, friendship, lughs and great vibes

You visitors make our show awesome with all your enthusiasm, smiles and LOVE .

So whether you are looking for the  macabre gothic inspiration, or a multicoloured unicorn rainbow of cuteness for your wedding , we are definitely the show for you

If you are a Goth , a gamer, or a reek, if you are into rainbows , rock or runes, if you love skulls, sparkles or steampunk OR if  you like music, minecraft or magic we  are here for EWE, please come vit us and witness the fitness that is The Eclectic Wedding Extravaganza

But mostly I love my gorgeous Dobermann Otis, my constantly filthy white cat Caspar, cars, tatts and crazy bad ass weddings (and not so crazy but still bad ass weddings).

Hi, I’m Jo… you might otherwise know me from running my other businesses, The Couture Company (where we make crazy ass wedding frocks for all you non-traditionalists out there) the others are Curious Coco designs ( for fab and funky bridesmaids) and Rawhide Corsets ( where we make custom made bespoke corsetry) and all this is done down at our gloriously awesome studio in Birmingham’s creative industrial heart, Digbeth .

At home I have two big kids, one is 45 , Darren , the other is our human pet superhero Age 9, who happens to be the lead singer of a Heavy Metal band too, check out HAQ123 🙂 !!

Life is pretty hectic juggling all these, but I love them all so its all good !!

The best things in my life are Friendship and Laughter!!! (oh and wine!) x
